Five members of the Percy Branch, travelled to Mowden Hall Scool last weekend to compete in the Tynedale Triathlon. For Daisy Armstrong and Ida Bridgeman this was their first real taste of Tetrathlon Competition and they both did so well with good performances in all three phases, but notable their swimming, well done girls. Emily Bennet in only her second competition ran really well and remained strong in both her shooting and swimming phases, another great performance.
Harvey Coxon won the shoot and swimming phases and was second in the run in the open boys competition. These strong performances throughout the day secured Harvey the win, 300 points ahead of his rival.
Steph Courty also won the shoot with a fantastic 1000 score and swimming phase and came second in the running to finish in first place overall in the open girls class.
Good luck to them all at Darlington next weekend, when we hope to be joined by Daniel Fletcher as he returns from injury and Suzie Barwise-Munro, fresh from her trip down under.
