Tetrathlon Success at Championships

Our Open Girls Tetrathlon team of Steph Courty, Rebecca Barwise Munro and Lizzie Pettifer finished a brilliant 2nd at the Tet Championships at Hartbury this weekend. Suzie Barwise Munro finished in 9th place individually, which is a brilliant result.

Alnorthumbria Vets and Endurance GB invitations

Alnorthumbria Vetinary Group in conjunction with Scott Mitchell Associates invite all pony club arents and their parents to their North East Clients Evening on 26th February at Stannington Village Hall to an evening with Ruth Edge a leading three day event rider and grand prox dressage rider together with Cedric Chan BVSc CertES(Orth)ECVS MRCVS.  Ruth will discuss improving your horses performance and Cedric will discuss the art and science of Equine Lameness.  The evening will start with refreshments at 6.30 pm and the first talk will start at 7pm promptly. Endurance GB have invited us to their talk at Stannington Village Hall on 14th Febraury with a talk on Enduring Equine Back Pain by Colin Mitchell of ScottMitchell Associates and a talk by Karen David, Endurance National Champion about Endurance riding and how to get started.  This should be interesting to any of our members who are interested in Endurance riding as this is a pony club discipline now.
